i've been using this for years.. one of the best youtube video quality customize extensions for chrome ever!!

september and still working, and the only one who has the "enhanced bitrate" option for premium users, amazing!!

Something has happened since last 2-3 days...all sliders are disappeared and grayed out...so i cant shift the slider button to adjust the resolution anymore....is this any issue or its now disabled for chrome older broweser for Windows 8.1? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, didnt help!

Works perfectly on Brave, 1 Suggestion it would be awesome to have secondary resolution, i watch videos in 480p to save bandwidth when this resolution is not available it default to 1080p which drains my data if unnoticed, even if i manually switch the resolution the video has already loaded 10% in 1080p, please make a secondary resolution settings so if there is no primary resolution available it will default to secondary that i can set as 360p or as i wish, Thank you. Edit: Reply -> I do set the quality only from the extension. I was suggesting a second resolution slider if the current one is not available in the YouTube video itself (Some videos don't have some resolutions).

Does exactly what it promises. Works better than Youtube's own settings. A lot of the reviews complain about ad insertions. I haven't seen any ads, but I have an adblock as well. The dev does abuse the extension by promoting his own stuff, but one unobtrusive text box in 6 months? It's not cool and he shouldn't do it, but even considering that I'll still include this extension every time I install a new browser. So stop it please, Avi. But it's not as bad as some of these recent reviews make it sound like.

Works great to force videos to what you want them to be. Sometimes YT will put the quality down for no reason, this fixes that issue and isn't overly complicated like a lot of other YT extensions. Great work!

Adds ads

Add-on injects ad's ontop of youtube's regular pre-rolls. Uninstalled your garbage.

May inject self-advertising in the YouTube page and opens a bit.ly-shortened URL which redirects to an affiliate link when uninstalled (for the first time at least).

The developer injected ads for his other projects into my pages, not cool. Uninstalled.

This developer decided to put ads on youtube for another extension of theirs. F off. Uninstalled.

Developer might still reacts on the complaints(?) BTW, what do you think: https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/1952

Deinstalled, I don't need more ads shown in YouTube.

ads for personal donations and for other extension built directly into your youtube that will show up even with a adblocker.

I don't want to see your stupid ad.
